Services Institute of Medical Sciences (SIMS), Services Hospital Lahore invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals for appointment against the following posts:

  • Professors
    • Physiology, Pharmacology, Forensic Medicine, Histopathology, Microbiology, Haematology, Chemical Pathology, Community Medicine

The candidates must have MBBS or equivalent qualification fully recognized/registered by the PMDC.  The post graduate qualification is required of PMDC recognized Level II b and Level III like D.sc, Ph.D, FCPS, M.Phil or equivalent PMDC Level II b and Level III qualifications in the respective specialty approved for teaching by SRC and recognized/registered by PMDC.  The teaching experience of 3 years as Associate Professor in the respective subject provided that the total teaching experience as Assistant/Associate Professor is not less than 8 years or 9 years teaching experience as an Assistant Professor in the respective subject in the recognized institution.  Furthermore, at least 05 research papers published in standard medical journal approved by PMDC while working as Assistant/Associate Professor.  It is further informed that Dissertation/Thesis will not be counted.
